The nitrogenator is designed for the continuous nitrogenation of beverages. Nitrogen ( N₂ ) is introduced directly into the product stream in a highly detailed, extremely small bubble via a specially designed vortex-Venturi injector . Due to the high pressure and turbulent flow , the N₂ dissolves completely and absolutely homogeneously in a very short time.


 Application
 Nitrogenated beers have very small bubbles and a very stable head . The nitrogenator is designed for the continuous supply of nitrogen to:

 The desired N₂ content is exactly achieved in the finished product.


 Operating principle
 
 
 Vortex-Venturi injector : Injection of N₂ as very fine bubbles directly into the product stream.
 
 
 Solution section with control valve : At the end of the solution section, a control valve keeps the pressure in the system constant and above the saturation pressure.
 
 
 Process control via flow measurement : Highly accurate flow meters detect the flows; based on this, product flow and nitrogen flow are adjusted immediately and fully automatically.
 
 
 Optional: in-line monitoring of the N₂ content via a nitrogen sensor – as a supplement to the ratio control
