Easyomer - Hop pre-isomerization
EASYOMER optimizes the bittering yield from hops. A new, scientifically proven heat treatment process with hop-specific parameters (temperature, pressure, pH, concentration, time) promotes the solubility of iso-alpha acids. These remain dissolved to a particularly high degree in the finished beer. Since the pre-isomerization phase is decoupled from the brewing process (wort boiling), this highly efficient method complies with the German Purity Law and has no impact on the beer's aroma profile. By utilizing existing process equipment, CIP systems, and dosing pumps for adding the hop bittering compounds, investment costs can be minimized. Raw material savings and low acquisition costs result in a short amortization period and rapid return on investment. With EASYOMER, hop consumption can be reduced by up to 30%.
- Applicable to all types of hops (natural hops, pellets, extract)
- Hop savings of up to 30% are possible.
- Lower energy consumption for wort boiling
- Customized modular design with standard PLC
- Frame-mounted for easy installation into the existing process
- Hygienic design and full CIP capability
Application:
The EASYOMER pre-isomerization system enables the economical use of hop products (natural hops, pellets, extract) due to a significantly increased bittering yield. The compact system can be easily integrated into an existing brewhouse.
