SIP - Sterilization in Place
Centec offers various SIP (Sterilization in Place) systems . These systems are designed to achieve optimal sterilization results with minimal consumption of water , chemicals , and energy . While one part of the production line is being sterilized, other areas can continue manufacturing.
What is SIP – and why CIP?
Where stricter hygiene standards apply, sterilization-in-place (SIP) is performed following CIP cleaning .
SIP kills unwanted microorganisms ,
- who may have survived the CIP
or
- where Cleaning-in-Place is not used.
Sterilization concept – designed specifically for each project
The SIP concept is ideally adapted to your requirements, e.g. regarding:
- Media (hot water, steam, chemical disinfectants)
- Level of automation
- Integration into existing lines and valve technology
- required media supply ( water treatment / pure steam )
Pure steam & media supply (on request)
Centec offers pure steam generators for sterilization applications using pure steam:
- Steam temperature above 121 °C
If required, the pure steam generator can be expanded into a multi-stage distillation system by adding further columns. This enables the combined, simultaneous production of pure water and pure steam .
Your advantages at a glance
- Sterilization concept ideally adapted to requirements
- Water treatment and pure steam generation on demand
- Customized modular design with standard PLC
- Frame-mounted for easy installation and commissioning
- Small, mobile systems on wheels available
