SIP - Sterilization in Place
Centec offers a wide range of SIP systems. Centec designs its SIP systems to ensure optimal sterilization results with minimal water, chemical, and energy consumption. While one part of the production line is being sterilized, other areas can continue manufacturing. Centec offers ultrapure steam generators for generating pure steam for sterilization applications. The steam temperature exceeds 121°C. If required, the ultrapure steam generator can be expanded into a multi-stage distillation system with additional columns. This enables the combined, simultaneous production of ultrapure water and ultrapure steam.

Application:
Where stricter hygiene standards apply, sterilization-in-place (SIP) is performed following CIP cleaning. SIP kills unwanted microorganisms that may have survived CIP or where cleaning-in-place is not used.
