Formulation container
The formulation container is designed for hygienic , pharmaceutical processes and supports the precise preparation , homogeneous mixing , and transfer of liquid or semi-liquid formulations. The container is made of AISI 316L and is electropolished on all surfaces in contact with the medium – for processes with minimal dead spaces .
Depending on the design, temperature-controlled elements (heating/cooling jacket) are integrated to control processes in a targeted manner, e.g. for temperature-sensitive active ingredients.
Application
The formulation container is used for the controlled production and transfer of pharmaceutical formulations into production lines, e.g.:
- Injection solutions
- Infusion solutions
- syrups
- other liquid dosage forms
Special features / characteristics
- Hygienic design, CIP/SIP-compatible , with minimized dead spaces
- AISI 316L (material 1.4404 / 1.4435) , electropolished
- Homogeneous mixing through optimized stirring or vibromixing systems – even at very low fill levels
- Flexible mixing systems: magnetic stirrers , vibromixers or piston stirrers (depending on the design)
- Aseptic connections: Tri-Clamp connectors or GMP flanges
- Integrated CIP spray ball
- Automation can be integrated ( control unit , recipe module , in-line sensors ) – optional/project-specific
- Modular design for integration into existing systems
- Fully qualifyable: material certificates , welding certificates and test reports
Documentation / Qualification
For the pharmaceutical environment, complete documentation for qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ) is provided – either with in-house protocols or according to customer documentation requirements.
