NITROTEC TC is a thermal-conductivity sensor for continuous measurement of dissolved and gaseous nitrogen (N₂). It is suitable for in-line measurements from trace concentrations to saturation and for applications in beverage production, power and steam, and pharmaceuticals.

Measuring Principle
 
N₂ diffuses through a gas-permeable membrane into the measuring chamber, which is continuously flushed with CO₂ as the carrier gas. A thermal-conductivity detector measures the change in thermal conductivity, and the dissolved concentration is derived from the N₂ partial pressure.
