Transfer cabinets – Hygienic transfer of media in the production area
The transfer cabinet is a system for a direct transfer line to one or more consumers – without an additional return line and without a buffer tank . The transfer is demand-controlled: the flow only starts when a valve is opened at the point of use and stops automatically as soon as the valve closes again.
How the transfer works
- Direct supply via branch lines – without a circulation line
- Pneumatic diaphragm pump : Starts only when the valve at the point of consumption is open.
- After the pumping process is complete: the valve closes, the pump switches off automatically.
- Automated: Every pumping process is logged in terms of time and quantity ; after each pumping process, a message is sent to the PLC.

Transfer cabinets enable the contamination-free transfer of media via branch lines without circulation.
Typical use cases:
- Subsequent media additions (e.g. to individual consumers)
- Aggressive media that cannot be transmitted over existing lines
