The wastewater collection units allow for the centralized collection of all relevant liquid by-products and residual streams from pharmaceutical production. In a conventional system, cleaning rinses, concentrates from pharmaceutical water production, and other process water are directed into the collection system, where the media are buffered and mixed before being transferred for treatment or disposal. Modular units ensure that the capacity can be precisely tailored to production requirements. The units are constructed from durable materials for longevity and monitoring. Optional sensors, such as pH and relative humidity measurement as well as level monitoring, enable automated control and integration into the overall automation system.

Special features / characteristics:

  • Hygienically executed construction in AISI 304 / 316L
  • Version also possible with piping in plastic and PP containers.
  • Possible separation of certain wastewater streams for subsequent controlled merging is possible.
  • Entry systems for neutralization are possible
  • Modular skid design for flexible expansion or adaptation
  • Integrated sensors for real-time monitoring of fill level and pH
  • Fully automatable with Siemens/Rockwell PLC and remote maintenance access
  • Electropolished surface, Ra ≤ 0.8 µm
  • Optional explosion-proof version as well as leakage and alarm function

👉 Advantage:
Efficient, GMP-compliant collection and buffering of pharmaceutical process wastewater with fully integrated monitoring and automation.

Modular wastewater collection system for pharmaceutical production lines

System for the controlled collection of rinsing and wastewater from one or more systems in pharmaceutical plants. Suitable for production lines with frequent cleaning (CIP), cleaning, disinfection, and rinsing wastewater, as well as process and laboratory wastewater with varying composition. Creates a controlled interface for downstream treatment or external disposal and supports compliance with drainage and environmental regulations.
