Wastewater collection system for pharmaceutical production lines.

The wastewater collection units enable the centralized collection of relevant liquid by-products and residual streams from pharmaceutical production. Typical media (depending on the process) are fed into the collection system, buffered there, and mixed as needed – before being directed for treatment or disposal.


Application

System for the controlled collection of rinsing and wastewater from one or more systems in pharmaceutical plants. Suitable for:

  • Production lines with frequent cleaning (CIP)
  • Cleaning, disinfection and cleaning rinsing wastewater
  • Process and laboratory wastewater with varying composition

The system creates a controlled interface for subsequent treatment or external disposal and supports compliance with drainage and environmental regulations .


Which currents are typically recorded

In a classic interpretation, the following media, among others, are directed into the collection system:

  • Cleaning rinse cycles
  • Discharges of concentrates from PW water production
  • other process waters (depending on the line)

Why modular?

Modular units allow capacity to be reliably tailored to specific production requirements. This ensures the system remains scalable – for example, in the event of changes to lines, cleaning frequencies, or wastewater volumes.


Monitoring & Automation (optional / project-specific)

Optionally integrated sensors support automated control and integration into the higher-level automation system , e.g.:

  • pH measurement
  • Conductivity measurement (LF)
  • Level monitoring

Special features / characteristics

  • Hygienically executed construction in AISI 304 / 316L
  • Alternative version with plastic piping and PP container possible.
  • Separation of specific wastewater streams with subsequent controlled merging is possible.
  • Entry systems for neutralization are possible
  • Modular skid design for flexible expansion or adaptation
  • Integrated sensors for real-time monitoring of fill level and pH
  • Fully automatable with Siemens/Rockwell PLC and remote maintenance access
  • Electropolished surface, Ra ≤ 0.8 µm
  • Optional explosion-proof version as well as leakage and alarm function
