The flash pasteurization system is designed to gently pasteurize the product without adversely affecting its color, taste, or digestibility. For best results, pasteurization time, temperature, and pressure must be individually adjusted. The optimal parameters depend on various factors such as the product, the type of packaging, and the expected shelf life. Based on highly precise process control, the system guarantees consistent pasteurization quality even with variable product flow directly before the filler. To increase the system's energy efficiency, the product is heated to the pasteurization temperature in two stages. In the first stage, it is heated in a heat recovery section, where it flows counter-currently to the hot, already pasteurized product. In the second stage, it is gently heated to the pasteurization temperature by the heating medium, e.g., hot water heated by steam. If the flash pasteurization system is installed directly before the filling machine, a buffer tank can compensate for fluctuations in the product quantity received by the filler. The CIP cleaning of the system can be carried out simultaneously with the main line or separately.

FlashPasto - Short-term heating
Flash pasteurization kills harmful microorganisms in beer and beer-based mixed drinks, thereby increasing the product's microbiological stability and shelf life. Flash pasteurization is a proven and cost-effective process in the brewing industry.
