Dosing system

The dosing system is a frame-mounted system for the precise dosing of sensitive media. Piping (stainless steel or plastic), dosing pumps, storage tanks, and safety and control valves are installed on the skid – including fully automatic controls . Dosing is carried out according to the following methods, depending on the model:

  • volumetric
  • or gravimetric (container on load cells )

Optionally, return flow and an explosion-proof setup are possible if required.


What is the facility intended for?

The dosing system is used for the precise feeding of process or cleaning media into pharmaceutical production or cleaning systems, e.g.:

  • solvent
  • Additives
  • Reagents
  • CIP chemicals

Design in a hygienic style – for integration into GMP-regulated systems with low risk of contamination and high repeatability .


Hygiene design & cleaning

The design adheres to hygienic principles and includes:

  • smooth surfaces
  • minimized dead volume
  • full CIP/SIP capability

Note: SIP capability is only available in stainless steel versions.


Control & Documentation

The controller supports (depending on the version):

  • Recipe management
  • Data logging
  • Validation according to GMP requirements

Special features / characteristics

  • Completely made of AISI 316L with an electropolished surface
  • Validatable (DQ/IQ/OQ documentation) – suitable for pharmaceutical qualification
  • Heating or cooling heat exchanger optionally available
  • Automated with recipe management, online sensors (flow rate, pressure, conductivity, pH) and remote access
  • Modular skid design for easy integration into existing processes
  • Optional gravimetric or volumetric dosing (adjusted accuracy)
  • Minimal dead volume , hygienic pipe design

Operating temperature: 10 – 90 °C

Pump technology: pneumatic, piston or diaphragm pump (chemical resistant)
