Dosing system
The dosing system consists of a frame with stainless steel or plastic piping/hoses, on which dosing pumps, storage tanks, safety and control valves, and a fully automatic control system are installed. The system enables either volumetric or gravimetric dosing (tank on weighing cells) of sensitive media with recirculation and, if required, an explosion-proof design.
The design adheres to hygienic principles with smooth surfaces, minimized dead volume, and full CIP/SIP capability (SIP capability only in stainless steel versions). The control system enables recipe management, data logging, and validation in accordance with GMP requirements.Special features / characteristics:
- Completely made of AISI 316L with an electropolished surface.
- Validatable (DQ/IQ/OQ documentation) – suitable for pharmaceutical qualification.
- Heating or cooling heat exchanger optionally available
- Automated with recipe management, online sensors (flow rate, pressure, conductivity, pH) and remote access.
- Modular skid design, easy integration into existing processes.
- Optional gravimetric or volumetric dosing with adapted accuracy.
- minimal dead volume, hygienic piping design.
👉 Advantage:
Highly precise and automated dosing of critical media in pharmaceutical processes with maximum hygiene and minimal installation and cleaning effort.
Application:
The dosing system is used for the precise feeding of process or cleaning media (e.g., solvents, additives, reagents, CIP chemicals) into pharmaceutical production or cleaning systems. It features a hygienic design for integration into GMP-controlled systems, offering low contamination risk and high repeatability.
