WINE MONITOR
Simultaneous Measurement of Alcohol and Oechsle
The WINE MONITOR is a variant of COMBITEC and enables simultaneous measurement of alcohol and Oechsle. The instrument combines RHOTEC density measurement and SONATEC sound velocity measurement.
Measuring Principle
Density measurement is based on the oscillating U-tube principle. For sound velocity measurement, a sound pulse is generated and detected by an ultrasonic receiver. A mathematical polynomial describes the product-specific relationship.
Applications
- Wine
- Alcohol
- Oechsle
- Production Process
- Product Line
- Quality Control
Temperature drift of the measurement signal is automatically compensated. European patent application: 1 439 438 B1.
