OXYTRANS EC
OXYTRANS EC is an electrochemical Clark-cell sensor for high-precision measurement of dissolved and gaseous oxygen (O₂). Depending on its configuration, the sensor covers very low trace levels through to high concentrations and is suitable for beverage, pharmaceutical, power and steam, and semiconductor / ultrapure-water applications.
Applications
- Beer and beverage production
- Power & Steam
- Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals
- Semiconductor / Ultrapure Water
Measuring Principle
O₂ diffuses through a semi-permeable membrane to the cathode of the Clark cell. The electrochemically generated current is proportional to the oxygen partial pressure. Sensor parameters can be stored in the sensor, simplifying changes between compatible evaluation units.
Technical Data
- Dissolved O₂: 0,1 ppb–400 ppm, depending on configuration
- O₂ partial pressure: up to 10 bar, depending on configuration
- Response time: approx. 7,2 s to 2,5 min, depending on configuration
- Accuracy: ±1 % of reading*
- Temperature Compensation: −5 to +60 °C
- CIP/SIP: up to 120 °C
- Pressure rating: up to 300 bar
- Wetted materials: 316L stainless steel, PFA/Tefzel
- Enclosure rating: IP68 / NEMA 6P
- Weight: approx. 0,6 kg
Extension
Optionally with a suitable EC evaluation unit. The specific measuring range and analyzer configuration are agreed for the project.
* 1 % of the reading or the minimum value, whichever is greater.
Evaluation unit / Analyzer
OXYTRANS EC can optionally be combined with a suitable EC evaluation unit. The measuring range and analyzer / signal configuration are defined according to the application.Downloads (PDF, English)
