MultiMixer - Multi-component mixing

MultiMixer is a process system for continuous multi-component blending. Different liquid or powder products are combined in the running process. Mass flows and concentrations are measured continuously and adjusted via ratio control - for reproducible results and low product loss.

 

Application

MultiMixer is used for the continuous blending of multiple product streams, for example:

  • Beer 
  • Syrup 
  • Flavors 

Because the number of blending channels can be adapted to individual requirements, the system offers a high degree of flexibility for producing different products and brands.

 

What MultiMixer does in the process

  • Continuous blending of multiple product streams 
  • Feed of components from storage tanks via supply lines or from vessels mounted on the system 
  • Continuous inline measurement of mass flows and concentrations 
  • Automatic adjustment via ratio control 
  • Low-oxygen dosing of concentrates is possible 

 

Carbonation (depending on configuration)

MultiMixer is also frequently used for carbonation. In this case, the system includes a specially designed Vortex-Venturi injector:

  • CO₂ is injected directly into the product stream as a very large number of very small bubbles 
  • The CO₂ flow is monitored and controlled immediately and fully automatically based on inline measurements

Brix dosing range: 0 - 85 °Brix (80 - 120 % diet beverages) 

Brix dosing accuracy: ± 0.03 °Brix (± 1 % diet beverages) 

CO2 dosing range: 0.5 - 10 g/l 

CO2 dosing accuracy: ± 0.1 g/l (on request ± 0.05 g/l) 

Material: as required (1.4301/AISI 304, 1.4404/AISI 316L, …)
