MultiMixer - Multi-component mixing
MultiMixer is a process system for continuous multi-component blending. Different liquid or powder products are combined in the running process. Mass flows and concentrations are measured continuously and adjusted via ratio control - for reproducible results and low product loss.
Application
MultiMixer is used for the continuous blending of multiple product streams, for example:
- Beer
- Syrup
- Flavors
Because the number of blending channels can be adapted to individual requirements, the system offers a high degree of flexibility for producing different products and brands.
What MultiMixer does in the process
- Continuous blending of multiple product streams
- Feed of components from storage tanks via supply lines or from vessels mounted on the system
- Continuous inline measurement of mass flows and concentrations
- Automatic adjustment via ratio control
- Low-oxygen dosing of concentrates is possible
Carbonation (depending on configuration)
MultiMixer is also frequently used for carbonation. In this case, the system includes a specially designed Vortex-Venturi injector:
- CO₂ is injected directly into the product stream as a very large number of very small bubbles
- The CO₂ flow is monitored and controlled immediately and fully automatically based on inline measurements
