Chlorine dosing for process and product water
For the safe and effective disinfection of water, Centec offers a semi-automatic system for preparing and dosing calcium hypochlorite solutions. Calcium hypochlorite (Ca(OCl)₂) is a stable, solid disinfectant that is easy to store and transport. The system allows for the on-demand preparation and dosing of a 2–6% chlorine solution.
The compact, frame-mounted system comprises a conical mixing vessel with an electric mixer, a sight glass for visual process control, and a dosing tank with precision diaphragm dosing pumps. Up to four injection devices enable simultaneous chlorine addition at multiple process points. A high-precision chlorine sensor ensures accurate concentration control. An integrated control cabinet for automation and monitoring is available as an option.Key points:
- Use of stable, solid calcium hypochlorite granules
- Semi-automatic operation with easy handling
- Precise dosing using diaphragm dosing pumps
- Process reliability through integrated chlorine sensor
- Optional automation via control cabinet
Application:
Centec's calcium hypochlorite dosing system is used in the beverage industry, particularly in breweries, to reliably disinfect product and process water. It protects the water supply from microbiological contamination and ensures hygienic production conditions.
