ADoS – Additive Dosing System
ADoS is an additive dosing system for the recipe-based dosing of ingredients – directly into the main product stream . The system has a modular design , is adaptable in the number of dosing components, and is designed for stable, reproducible operation.
Application
ADoS is used to introduce malt extract , hop extract , flavorings , and colorings directly into the main product stream. Its compact design supports the flexible production of different products (e.g., brands/variants).

Description / Operating principle
The dosage is administered directly into the main stream according to a pre-selected formula . The additives are added depending on the specific design:
from separate tanks via supply lines or
from smaller containers that are installed on the plant
Depending on the design, the containers can be optionally:
be heated
be rinsed with CO₂ or N₂
be equipped with agitators
Flow meters, dosing pumps, and pneumatic control valves continuously monitor and regulate the flow rates. This ensures precise and reproducible dosing – even with very small quantities.
Hygiene & Cleaning
ADoS is hygienically designed and fully CIP-compatible . Cleaning can be integrated into standardized CIP processes.
